मोदुर कंद (Modur Kand) is a traditional sweet dish from Kashmiri Cuisine. It is a delicious dessert made with sweet potatoes, ghee, and sugar, and is flavored with cardamom and saffron.
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- A pinch of saffron strands
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan and add the grated sweet potatoes.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sweet potatoes are soft and golden brown.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Mix well and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
