Ingredients

  • 1 cup peeled black-eyed peas
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground crayfish
  • 1 teaspoon bouillon powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 nori seaweed sheets

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the black-eyed peas, red bell pepper, and onion. Blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the vegetable oil, ground crayfish, bouillon powder, and salt.
  3. Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of the moin moin mixture over the nori sheet, leaving a small border at the top.
  4. Roll the nori sheet tightly with the moin moin mixture using the bamboo mat, sealing the edge with a bit of water.
  5. Repeat with the remaining nori sheets and moin moin mixture.
  6. Steam the rolls in a steamer for 30 minutes.
  7. Once cooled, slice the rolls into bite-sized pieces and serve.
