Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat (chicken, lamb, or pork)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Water for steaming
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground meat, onion, garlic, ginger, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, and salt.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each circle.
- Fold the edges of the circle to form a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal the momo.
- Steam the momos in a steamer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
