Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (chicken, lamb, or pork)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Water for steaming

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground meat, onion, garlic, ginger, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, and salt.
  2. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle.
  3. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each circle.
  4. Fold the edges of the circle to form a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal the momo.
  5. Steam the momos in a steamer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
