Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (700g) chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and vegetable oil to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  5. Season the skewers with salt and pepper.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
