Mongolian BBQ Shrimp Skewers (Тахиа)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, vegetable oil, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
