Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, cut into cubes
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic to make the marinade.
- Thread the tofu, bell peppers, and onion onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Season the skewers with salt and pepper, then brush them with the marinade.
- Heat a grill pan or stovetop grill over medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the tofu is golden and the vegetables are tender.
- Serve the skewers hot, with any remaining marinade on the side for dipping.
