Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork loin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the pork slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger, and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Return the pork to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the pork is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
