Mongolian Spicy Tofu (Тофу)

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the red bell pepper and cubed tofu, and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, chili paste, cumin, and paprika.
  5. Pour the sauce over the tofu and vegetables, and stir to coat evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tofu is heated through and the sauce has thickened.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
