Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup mead
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the mead, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Place the beef cubes in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the beef. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef, red onion, and bell pepper onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the beef reaches the desired level of doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
