Montreal Bagel Bagel Burger (蒙特利尔百吉贝果汉堡)
This unique recipe combines the flavors of Montreal bagels and Chinese cuisine to create a delicious fusion dish - the Montreal Bagel Bagel Burger!
Ingredients
- 4 Montreal bagels
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, and Chinese five-spice powder. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the beef patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Split the Montreal bagels in half and toast them until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bagel. Top with a beef patty, a slice of cheddar cheese, shredded cabbage, and a drizzle of hoisin sauce. Place the top half of the bagel on top to complete the burger.
