Ingredients

  • 8 oz Montreal smoked meat, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz Chinese egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the Chinese egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
  3. Add the Montreal smoked meat and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
  4. Push the meat to the side of the wok, then add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
