Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork belly, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the pork belly, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, garlic, and black pepper.
- Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add water to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 20 minutes, or until the pork belly is tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot with steamed rice and enjoy!
