Moon Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Continue to heat the milk, stirring occasionally, until it is hot but not boiling, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour the moon milk into mugs and enjoy warm.
