Ingredients
- 2 cups dried apricots
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the dried apricots, sugar, water, and ground cardamom.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the apricots are soft and the mixture thickens, about 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Transfer the mixture to a food processor and pulse until smooth.
- Spread the apricot mixture onto a serving platter and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
- Allow it to cool completely before cutting into squares or diamonds.
