Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cilantro, parsley, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, cayenne pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice to make the chermoula marinade.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, dividing equally.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and serve hot.
