Morogo Magic
Morogo Magic is a traditional Botswana dish made with nutritious and flavorful morogo, also known as African spinach. This dish is easy to prepare and is perfect for a healthy and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 500g morogo (African spinach)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Wash the morogo thoroughly and chop it finely.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped morogo and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in the water, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
