Ingredients

  • 500g morogo (African spinach)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash the morogo thoroughly and chop it finely.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chopped morogo and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour in the water, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot.
