Mouthwatering Kymyz Sorbet (Кымызный сорбет)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups kymyz
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the kymyz and the cooled sugar syrup until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
  4. Every 30 minutes, take the dish out of the freezer and stir the mixture with a fork to break up any ice crystals. Repeat this process for about 4 hours, or until the sorbet is firm and scoopable.
  5. Once the sorbet is ready, scoop it into serving dishes and enjoy!
