  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 sheets of samosa pastry (or phyllo dough)
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  2. Stir in the cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
  3. Take one sheet of samosa pastry and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center. Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle, then seal the edges with a little water.
