Mughlai Chicken Kofta

Ingredients
- 500g ground chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts, ground
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground chicken, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Shape the mixture into small balls to make the koftas.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken koftas until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, heat ghee and sauté the ground cashew nuts until aromatic.
- Add the fried chicken koftas to the pan and stir gently to coat them with the cashew nut mixture.
- Pour in the fresh cream and simmer the koftas in the creamy gravy for 10-15 minutes until the flavors meld together.
- Garnish with additional cream and chopped coriander leaves before serving.
