Mughlai Paratha

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 250g minced meat (chicken or lamb)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour with water to make a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the minced meat, onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and roll each ball into a small circle. Place a portion of the minced meat mixture in the center and fold the edges of the dough to enclose the filling. Roll it out gently into a paratha.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the paratha with oil until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling.
  6. Serve the Mughlai Paratha hot with yogurt, pickles, or chutney.
