Ingredients
- 1/2 cup basmati rice
- 4 cups almond milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon rose water
- Chopped pistachios and almonds for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the basmati rice and almond milk. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.
- Stir in the sugar, ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, and rose water. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and let the pudding cool slightly. Then, transfer to serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until chilled.
