Ingredients
- 6 slices of bread
- 1 liter milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1/4 cup mixed dry fruits (almonds, pistachios, and cashews)
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/4 tsp saffron strands
Instructions
- Trim the edges of the bread slices and cut them into triangles.
- In a deep pan, heat ghee and fry the bread triangles until they turn golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add milk, sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron. Cook on low heat until the milk reduces to half, stirring occasionally.
- Add the fried bread triangles to the reduced milk and let them soak for a few minutes.
- Garnish with mixed dry fruits and serve hot or cold.
