Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Sliced red onion and jalapenos for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, paprika, and salt. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, carrots, cilantro, mayonnaise, and lime juice to make the slaw.
  4. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing a spoonful of the cooked chicken on each tortilla, topping with the slaw, and garnishing with sliced red onion and jalapenos.
