Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 2 large onions, finely chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 8 pieces of prata (thin pancake)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the minced meat, chopped onions, eggs, curry powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions.
  3. Place a portion of the meat mixture onto a piece of prata and spread it evenly, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Fold the edges of the prata over the meat mixture to enclose it completely, forming a square parcel.
  5. Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the murtabak until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining portions of meat mixture and prata.
  7. Serve the murtabak hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
