Muscadine Jam
Muscadine jam is a sweet and flavorful spread that is perfect for enjoying with toast, biscuits, or as a topping for yogurt or ice cream.
Ingredients
- 4 cups muscadine grapes, stemmed and washed
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the muscadine grapes and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the sugar to the pot and stir until dissolved. Continue to simmer for another 15-20 minutes, or until the mixture thickens to a jam-like consistency.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the jam cool for a few minutes.
- Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal. Allow the jam to cool completely before refrigerating.
