Muscadine Jam

Ingredients

  • 4 cups muscadine grapes, stemmed and washed
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the muscadine grapes and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the sugar to the pot and stir until dissolved. Continue to simmer for another 15-20 minutes, or until the mixture thickens to a jam-like consistency.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and let the jam cool for a few minutes.
  4. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal. Allow the jam to cool completely before refrigerating.
