Ingredients

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 3 tbsp mustard paste
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mustard paste, yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, mustard oil, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the marinated chicken. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender and the sauce thickens.
  4. Serve hot with steamed rice or paratha.
