Ingredients

  • 4 pabda fish fillets
  • 4 tbsp mustard paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 banana leaves

Instructions

  1. Marinate the fish fillets with mustard paste, turmeric powder, green chilies, yogurt, sugar, and salt for 15 minutes.
  2. Wrap each marinated fish fillet in a banana leaf and secure with toothpicks.
  3. Heat a pan and place the wrapped fish parcels in it. Cook covered for 15-20 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Once the fish is cooked, serve hot with steamed rice.
