Mutton Sukka

Ingredients

  • 500g mutton, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Now, add the tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  4. Add the mutton pieces, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the mutton is tender.
  5. Once the mutton is cooked, add the grated coconut and garam masala. Cook for a few more minutes until the mixture is dry.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
