Muya Boti (spicy Lamb Kebabs)

Ingredients

  • 500g lamb, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the lamb cubes with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers.
  3. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the finely chopped onion. Cook until the onion turns golden brown.
  4. Add the lamb skewers to the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked through and has a nice char.
  5. Serve the Muya Boti hot with lemon wedges.
