Muya Masala (spicy Beef Stir-fry)
Muya Masala is a traditional Tripuri dish that features a spicy beef stir-fry with a blend of aromatic spices. This dish is perfect for those who enjoy bold flavors and a touch of heat.
Ingredients
- 500g beef, thinly sliced
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 3 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the beef slices and cook until they are browned.
- Stir in the tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
