Naga Style Beef With Akhuni

Ingredients

  • 500g beef, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp akhuni (fermented soybean)
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4-5 green chilies, slit
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2-3 tbsp mustard oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef with akhuni, turmeric powder, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Saute until golden brown.
  3. Add the marinated beef and cook on medium heat until the meat is tender.
  4. Add the green chilies and grated ginger. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Once the beef is cooked, remove from heat and serve hot.
