Naga Style Chicken With King Chilli

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 10-12 King Chilli (Bhut Jolokia), finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons mustard oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the grated ginger and minced garlic. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  4. Add the chicken pieces, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is almost done.
  5. Add the finely chopped King Chilli and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked through and the flavors have melded, remove from heat.
