Ingredients
- 500g pork, cut into cubes
- 1 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4-5 green chilies, slit
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 5-6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Naga chili paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and sauté the onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the pork cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Stir in the Naga chili paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and black pepper powder. Cook for a few minutes.
- Add the sliced bamboo shoots and mix well. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
- Pour in a cup of water, cover the pan, and let the pork and bamboo shoots simmer until tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
