Naga Style Smoked Beef Curry

Ingredients

  • 500g smoked beef, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions, garlic, and ginger until golden brown.
  2. Add the tomatoes and green chilies, and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  3. Stir in the turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Add the smoked beef cubes and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the water, cover the pan, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the beef is tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
