Ingredients
- 500g smoked fish
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add water and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Gently place the smoked fish into the pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
