Naga Style Smoked Pork With Sesame

Ingredients

  • 500g smoked pork
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3-4 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the grated ginger and minced garlic. Sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add the smoked pork, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add water and cook covered on low heat for 1.5 hours or until the pork is tender.
  5. Dry roast the sesame seeds in a separate pan until golden brown.
  6. Add the roasted sesame seeds to the cooked pork and mix well.
  7. Garnish with chopped green chilies and serve hot.
