Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 cups steamed rice
  • 4 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and thread onto the skewers.
  3. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar. Simmer until the sugar dissolves.
