Ingredients
- 500g fresh octopus, cleaned and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3-4 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Korean red pepper paste (gochujang)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the Korean red pepper paste, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil to make the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the garlic, onion, and green onions, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the octopus to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes until it is fully cooked.
- Pour the sauce over the octopus and vegetables, and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and remove from heat.
