Ingredients
- 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add the ginger and garlic paste, and cook for a minute.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, green chilies, and spices. Cook until the oil separates.
- Add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the coconut milk and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the prawns are cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
