Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons belacan (fermented shrimp paste)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the belacan, garlic, and onion. Stir-fry until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Push the belacan mixture to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs onto the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked, then mix them with the belacan mixture.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, and chili paste. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes, ensuring that the rice is well coated with the seasonings.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve the Nasi Goreng Belacan Sarawak hot.
