Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, and red chili. Sauté until fragrant.
- Push the aromatics to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce, ketchup, shrimp paste, peas, and diced pineapple. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, then add chopped green onions. Stir well to combine.
- Transfer the Nasi Goreng Nanas to a serving dish and garnish with additional green onions or sliced red chili, if desired.
