Ingredients
- 2 cups natto (fermented soybeans)
- 4 cups dashi (Japanese soup stock)
- 1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced potatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- In a pot, combine the dashi, mirin, and soy sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Add the carrots, potatoes, and mushrooms to the pot and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add the natto and green onions to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
