Nauruan Beef Stir-fry
Nauruan Beef Stir-Fry is a delicious and flavorful dish that is quick and easy to prepare. This stir-fry is packed with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a savory sauce, making it a perfect meal for any day of the week.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the Nauruan Beef Stir-Fry hot over steamed rice.
