Nauruan Pork And Vegetable Stir-fry
This Nauruan Pork and Vegetable Stir-Fry is a delicious and healthy dish that is quick and easy to prepare. The combination of tender pork and fresh vegetables stir-fried to perfection makes for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 500g pork loin, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the sliced pork and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the same wok.
- Add the garlic, onion, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked pork to the wok and pour the sauce over the pork and vegetables. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
