Nauruan Pork And Vegetable Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 500g pork loin, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add the sliced pork and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  4. Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the same wok.
  5. Add the garlic, onion, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the cooked pork to the wok and pour the sauce over the pork and vegetables. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
