Nawabi Seekh Kebab

Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground mace
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the minced meat, onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, fresh coriander, fresh mint, garam masala, red chili powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, black pepper, nutmeg, mace, cardamom, salt, and gram flour.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them onto skewers to form kebabs.
  3. Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Serve the Nawabi Seekh Kebabs hot with mint chutney and sliced onions.
