Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 4-5 green chilies
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Clean and cut the fish fillets into pieces. Marinate with salt and keep aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix rice flour, grated coconut, cumin seeds, grated ginger, chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, and salt. Add water gradually to make a thin batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  4. Dip the marinated fish pieces in the batter and carefully place them in the hot oil. Fry until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove the fried fish from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
