Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cleaned and deveined prawns
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the rice flour, grated coconut, and salt. Add water to make a thin batter.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of batter, spreading it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa. Cook until the edges start to lift. Remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter to make neer dosas.
  3. In a separate bowl, marinate the cleaned prawns with turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated prawns until they turn crispy and golden brown.
  5. Serve the crispy fried prawns with the neer dosas.
