Ingredients
- 4 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine the diced mangoes, brown sugar, white vinegar, onion, garlic, ginger, mustard seeds, red pepper flakes, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chutney thickens.
