Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh crab meat

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, beaten egg, green onions, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 8 crab cakes, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Carefully place the crab cakes in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
