Ingredients

  • 500g ngari (smoked fish)
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3-4 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Remove the bones from the smoked fish and break it into small pieces.
  2. Heat mustard oil in a pan and fry the chopped onions until golden brown.
  3. Add the green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add the smoked fish pieces and fry until they are crispy and golden brown.
  5. Ngari Chura is ready to be served hot with steamed rice.
